Choosing Talking Therapies

A booklet produced by the Department of Health for anyone who is depressed or unhappy, or who has emotional problems they cannot sort out on their own. It tells you about the psychological help - or talking therapies - that are available for adults on the National Health Service (NHS). It explains what talking therapies are and what they aim to do. It will help you ask the right questions and to make the right choices for yourself.

Counselling Directory

Counselling Directory aims to be the leading service for providing counselling advice and information - connecting those in distress with the largest support network in the UK.

Since launched in 2005 the directory has grown rapidly in both size and popularity. It continues to be built around the feedback  received from both the counsellors and psychotherapists who choose to list themselves  and individuals who are searching for a counsellor.
